Grouped with the old-world flycatchers, the Bluethroat (Luscinia svecica) is found throughout the Palearctic realm which stretches from North Africa across Europe and North Asia above the foothills of the Himalayas. Its range also stretches into arctic Alaska where it is considered threatened.
These earrings are finished with wild-caught Alaska salmon leather that I hand-tanned with black tea, which gives it its rich brown coloration. Earring findings are 14k gold fill.
