Each year, I select a piece to reimagine with some seasonal flair. This is the 2022 piece! This limited edition of my beloved “Silence in Solitude” piece has been hand embellished with some lovely seasonal lights. Each signed and numbered one of 10 will come with a stamped certificate of authenticity.
Please note: this is a paper print of an original piece. Only the holiday lights are original embroidery and beadwork.
Caribou and reindeer are found in the northern latitudes worldwide and are a largely migratory species. While their populations remain stable worldwide, several subspecies and populations are endangered or extinct. Threats from increasing global temperatures and habitat destruction continue to plague existing populations of reindeer worldwide. Research in Finland by the Sami indicates that improving reindeer habitat can help reduce the effects of warming arctic climate.
